Product Warranty:
EDW Wood Chairs and Barstools frames have a 2 year limited warranty against defective material or workmanship from date of purchase. Metal Frame chairs, barstools and bases warranty is for a periodof 7years from date of purchase and tabletops are warranted for 1 year. Warranties do not apply to any of our products which have been altered or subjected to misuse, negligence or accident.
Upholstery Vinyl’s and Laminates are subject only to the warranty offered by the respective mills, and are not covered by the standard EDW limited warranty.
Shipping and Damage:
Shipping will be served via EDW preferred carriers unless customer carrier preference is indicated on order. You may do so by contacting us via email at customerservice@expressdiningworld.com. EDW is not responsible for damage or delays in transit beyond our control. Any shortage, or sign of damage, should be noted on the freight bill before accepting delivery. If damage is discovered after delivery, purchaser should notify the carrier at once to request inspection and claim instructions. Concealed damage claims must be filed within 10 days of receipt of shipment. If you suspect any concealed damage may exist sign the freight receipt “accepted upon inspection for concealed damage.”
Refusal to accept goods from carrier does not relieve purchaser of responsibility for payment and filing claims in the prescribed manner. All goods become the property of the purchaser once items are delivered to the carrier.
We are not set up to do residential deliveries, so please make sure your ship to address is a commercial place of business that has the ability to unload products. Freight carrier drivers are not responsible to assist in any way with unloading of trucks.
Return Policy:
DO NOT return merchandise without a return authorization # issued by EDW as it will be refused. All products from EDW are manufactured on a “made to order” system.This means items cannot be returned to stock. If any of the ordered items can be applied to other orders customer must pay a 25% restocking fee and incur the cost of freight to return items back to manufacturer. All items must be received back with no damage and in their original packaging, in order to receive credit.
Care and Maintenance:
Periodic maintenance is necessary to insure long term durability and look to your furniture.
Wood Finish- Coat wood with a hard paste wax every three to four months during the first year of use. After, the first year, application can be used on an as needed basis. To clean, use a liquid cleaner-wax polish combination. Do not use abrasive household solvents. Water spills on surface should be wiped off immediately.
Metal Finish- Wipe with damp cloth. To remove built up dirt brush the surface with a delicate brush and then wipe with warm soap and water.
Vinyl Upholstery- Clean with warm soap and water. Never use harsh chemical or bleach.
Laminate Table Tops- Use mild degreaser everyday. Never apply bleach to laminate!
